Tango Cherries – Frankfurt Tango Marathon 2015, Germany
This marathon has been one of the brand new marathons this year, and has been very successful.
Held in Instituto Cervantes, a beautiful modern building in the centre of frankfurt, it has a big, airy dance hall and lots of space for chilling on the terrace and inside. The organizers took care of every detail.
Carefully selected DJ’s, a smooth wooden floor, italian catering and a big espresso machine with exquisite coffee for free use (yeah!) formed a truly amazing experience. The level of dancing has been medium to high, and the social life around the dances has been very warm and cheerful.
The italian-syrian-german organizing team managed to be present at all times with a smile, and kept dancing at the same time (how????). Motivated and friendly helpers added their charme to the event.
There have been food, fruits, and drinks at all times. Food wasn’t cleared off right at the time given in the timetable, nobody had to run to get food …. everything felt easy and intended to pamper us.
I love the glow of the wrist bands in the darkness.
By all means I would like to come back next year, if there is another marathon – keep on going, folks!
