Tango Cherries – Tango Jam 2015, Hamburg, Germany

If you are already known for organizing a very good marathon it’s not so easy to fulfill the expectations of your guests. Even harder is it to be above expectations … and that’s what they did!

I have no idea how they made it, but the level of dancing was excellent, higher than the year before, but the atmosphere has been so friendly and warm; posh-factor decreased, dancing- and wellbeing-factor increased, hell, yeah!
Since location and infrastructure, cooking chef, organizers and helper team has been more or less the same as last year I don’t repeat my writing …

What has been new?TangoJam Hamburg 2015_3

First an excellent pre-party in matrix milonga (ok, a little hot and steamy, crowded and with a red-lighted darkness, but cozy, fun, and good vibes to groove into the weekend).

Then an early start on friday noon, a yummi crepe maker outside the dancing hall, and an after-after party in la yumba milonga on monday afternoon (I loved it!), as well as a boat trip for traveling guests. All in all the touristic program has been an excellent advertisement for hamburg as a city and it’s people, as well as the marathon has been for german-italian-russian organizing talents.
TangoJam Hamburg 2015_5These guys managed to feed our eyes with a fine place and lovely decoration, our hearts with friendship and love, our souls with music and dance, our bodies with hugs and excellent food and drinks. The chats, the energy, the jokes we as their guests added. Until we saw them in the end with little tears of emotion, which made us (at least me) feeling the same.

It’s hard enough to wait a whole year, so please: do it again!
